SKYEXPRESS above a heavily trafficked urban street
Urban Mobility Network

The Future of Urban Mobility

Public Transport and Individual Mobility. On the Same Network.

SKYEXPRESS® combines two mobility modes that are normally separate: regular, demand-oriented public transport for high passenger volumes and, in parallel, individually bookable cabins for direct travel to a personal destination. Both operate fully automatically and electrically on the same intelligently controlled network.

The Concept

A New Level of Mobility.

Rapidly growing cities need more transport capacity without sacrificing even more road space. SKYEXPRESS® uses the space above existing transport corridors and combines a slender double-track steel structure with automatically controlled suspended cabins.

The Key Differentiator

Two Mobility Modes. One Intelligent Network.

SKYEXPRESS® is neither just a railway nor merely an automated taxi system. Two different mobility services can operate simultaneously on the same infrastructure – demand-oriented and centrally coordinated.

01 · Public Transport

Regular and Demand-Oriented

Larger cabins serve high-demand routes and stations as part of regular public transport. Fleet deployment and service frequency are continuously adjusted to actual demand.

02 · Individual Use

Directly to Your Destination

Small cabins can be booked individually – comparable to a taxi or private car, but fully automated on the SKYEXPRESS® network. Each trip is routed directly through the network toward the passenger’s destination.

The unique feature: Both mobility modes use the same guideways, stations and network nodes at the same time. Central control allocates cabins and routes according to demand. SKYEXPRESS® therefore combines the efficiency of public transport with the freedom of individual mobility – without requiring two separate infrastructures.

SKYLOOP®

From a Linear Transit System to an Intelligent Network.

Four radial entrances and exits connect different routes. Central control guides each cabin through the network according to its destination. Individual routes thus become part of a flexible urban mobility network.

The passenger does not have to follow a fixed line – the system organizes the route for the passenger.

Stations

The Main Line Remains in Motion.

SKYEXPRESS® stations are located on separate side tracks. Cabins leave the main line for boarding and alighting while through traffic continues without interruption. Escalators and lifts provide access to the elevated platforms.

Performance & Economics

High Performance Through Intelligent Vehicle Density.

SKYEXPRESS® uses a large number of automatically controlled cabins. Part of the fleet serves regular public transport on a demand-oriented basis, while smaller cabins are simultaneously available for individually booked direct trips. Central control continuously adapts vehicle distribution and routing to actual demand.

Engineered and Ready for Industrial Implementation.

The fundamental development of SKYEXPRESS® is complete, and the essential system elements have been fully engineered in 2D. The next step is industrial implementation together with a strong partner.

Industrial Partnership

A New International Business Opportunity.

SKYEXPRESS® is not seeking conventional start-up financing. We are looking for a capable industrial partner or consortium for industrialization, manufacturing, system integration and international project execution.

Additional Applications

One Infrastructure – Additional Transport Functions.

In addition to passenger transport, the same infrastructure can also be used for automated logistics and goods transport – particularly outside peak passenger periods.
